Matériel pour la salle de consultations gynécologiques
Pour réaliser des consultations gynécologiques de qualité à coût réduit nous utilisons un certains nombre d’outils innovant. Nous avons choisi du matériel nécessitant peu de maintenance et pouvant être éventuellement acheter localement.
Le téléphone mobile comme colposcope.
Un téléphone mobile avec une bonne optique associé à un trépied de photographe remplace utilement un colposcope.
Un coût de 140 euros (100 euros pour le téléphone et 40 euros pour le trépied) est sans commune mesure avec le prix d’un colposcope (25 000 euros).
Le téléphone mobile peut être acheté localement, nécessite peu d’entretien. Les photos peuvent être envoyé par mail pour avis spécialisé et peuvent être stocké sur un ordinateur.

Les échographies portables.
Les échographies portables se développent rapidement. Nous avons choisi les échographies utilisant une tablette, téléphone mobile ou ordinateur comme écran.
Les prix (de 6000 à 9000 euros) sont plus avantageux qu’une échographie traditionnelle (25 000 euros). Il faut ajouter le prix d’un ordinateur ou d’une tablette (300 euros).
L’entretien ne concernant que la sonde est plus simple. L’écran pouvant facilement être acheté localement.
Les échographies portable permettent de faire des échographies directement dans la salle de consultation au pied du lit du patient. Le recours facilité à l’échographie permet d’étendre les indications de cet examen.

Il existe plusieurs échographies portables sur le marché.Nous en notons deux.
Autoprélèvement HPV.
Nous préconisons de faire par la patient un autoprélèvement vaginal à l’aide d’un écouvillon.
Pendant la consultation les patientes reçoivent un kit d'auto-prélèvement composé d'un écouvillon en nylon floqué dans un tube en plastique souple incassable. Ce échantillon est ensuite analysé par Genexpert.
L'autoprélèvement a montré une efficacité similaire à celui réalisé par un professionnels de la santé.
Il facilite l’acceptance de cet examen par la patiente et diminue le temps de consultation.

Thermocoagulation
La thermocoagulation est un moyen simple de traitement des lésions précancéreuses cervicales. Il ne nécessite pas de gaz et une batterie permet de faire 100 traitements. Il est robuste et peu couteux à l’usage.
